Shout out to Mrs. Anthony

A Shout Out For Mrs. Anthony

This year Mrs. Maryanne Anthony won the Idaho Teacher of the Year Award from the American Legion. There was a banquet in honor of Mrs. Anthony. “Everyone in Idaho was there!” claims Maryanne. The American Legion National President presented her with the award. She was nominated by Jim Crousen of Wendell, Idaho. Mr. Crousen nominated Mrs. Anthony because she does a lot for Veterans such as, The American Flag Essay. A lot of her classes love her. The reason she teaches at middle schools is because she thinks middle schoolers rock. She likes to do fun stuff in her English class. She claims, “English is not always fun.” She taught in three other schools before she came and taught in Wendell. Maryanne claims, “I am strict, but in a loving way.” She has taught eight years in Wendell. Her favorite collage is the Oregon Ducks. She went to college in Eastern Oregon. She got her degree in Elementary It. With emphasis in History.

We are so proud of you Mrs. Anthony we love you so much. You honor our school and everyone in it. WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!
